Exploring Coast to Coast with Audrey

As we welcome in 2025, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our incredible travel nurses, Audrey, a NICU RN who’s been making waves (and memories!) across the country with FlexCare. From the Pacific shores of California to the charming New England streets of Connecticut and New Jersey, Audrey has embraced the adventure that comes with being a travel nurse. 

To say Audrey’s journey last year was inspiring is an understatement. With a heart dedicated to caring for the tiniest of patients and a passion for exploration, she’s shown how rewarding life as a travel nurse can be. In her own words: 

"Another year in the books traveling with FlexCare and it's been fantastic!! I have literally been coast to coast this year with assignments in California, Connecticut, and New Jersey with a stop at home in Chicago! My best memories of 2024 were just exploring this country and everything it has to offer while traveling with this amazing company!! I look forward to starting my next contract in 2025 with FlexCare and hope that I have more amazing memories this upcoming year!!" 

Audrey’s year started in sunny California, where she balanced long shifts in the NICU with moments of tranquility by the beach. From there, her adventure took her to the East Coast, where she soaked in the autumn foliage of Connecticut and explored the vibrant cultural offerings of New Jersey. 

As a travel nurse, Audrey didn’t just clock in and out of work. She made the most of every location, discovering local gems, connecting with communities, and embracing the unique beauty each assignment had to offer.
